Re-shafting

Re-shafting, or shaft replacement, means taking the head off a golf club and fitting it to a new shaft. Golfers need it when a shaft is broken or bent, or when they want a shaft with a different flex or weight. 14 Clubs re-shafts a single club or the whole set at the workshop in Frekhaug.

Questions

Questions about re-shafting

What is shaft flex?

Flex is how much a shaft bends during the swing. Common grades run from ladies and senior through regular and stiff to extra stiff, and faster swings generally suit a stiffer shaft.

Can I bring my own shafts?

Yes. If you have your own shafts, bring them with your clubs and we will fit them. When you plan your re-shafting, tick ‘I have my own shafts’.

How long does re-shafting take?

Your clubs are usually ready in [x working days].

Ready to drop off your clubs?

Get in touch and we will agree the rest. The workshop is in Frekhaug, a 10 minute drive from Meland Golf Club.
