Re-gripping

Re-gripping, or grip replacement, means taking the old grip off a golf club and fitting a new one. Golfers change grips when they feel slippery, hard or cracked, because a worn grip is harder to hold. 14 Clubs re-grips a single club or the whole set at the workshop in Frekhaug.

How we re-grip a club

  1. Remove the old grip and tape.
  2. Clean the shaft and apply fresh tape.
  3. Fit the new grip.
  4. Align the grip with a laser so it sits perfectly straight.
  5. Let the grip dry before the club is ready for pick-up.
